Demeyere key principle is to adjust its technology to suit different types of products to it's function. Their pots, soup kettles and sauce pans have another type of technology as that of skillets, conic sauté pans, simmering pots and than woks. Here, the products of Demeyere are organized in accordance with their different applications of cooking, baking, stir-frying, frying.
For the straight saucepans, straight sauté pans, soup kettles and pots of Atlantis, Demeyere uses walls of stainless steel, combined with a heat-conducting 7 layer base: InductoSeal.
Patented InductoSeal base made of 7 different allows. A 2 mm copper disk, hermetically encapsulated in the base, guarantees an optimal distribution of heat through the base and provides a heat conductivity surface that is up to 33% larger than the traditional base. Capsule is welded around the side of the pot, made of 18/10 stainless steel. The welded capsule also provides additional safety in case of strong overheating (even up to 600°C/1100°F) and is more hygienic as no water, fat or dirt can penetrate into the base.
