The Espro dillinger tamper is tough as nails. Actually, it’s a quite a bit tougher. Espro made it for those who like to push the boundaries. Most tampers are just made of unhardened stainless steel. They get dented and scratched in a busy coffee. Not much to rave about. Espro used a vacuum hardened stainless steel. It’s three times harder than a regular tamper, and will stand up to a lot of rough treatment. And for those who like extremes, Espro pushed it over the edge, they coated the hardened stainless steel with a black diamond-like coating. This coating is over five times harder than a regular tamper. It’s hard enough to turn other tampers into little chips of metal. And it makes a wicked tamper too.
