  • The Peugeot patented mechanism developed in 1850 is still the one used in today's mills. A combination of specially angled channeling grooves and teeth creates a superior grind.
  • At the touch of a button, you can mill peppercorns or sea salt at the table or in the kitchen. For added convenience, these mills are fitted with a light that comes on when the grinder is in use, enabling easy viewing of your grind amount. The mills come complete with an attractive stainless steel tray for each mill.

  • Mechanism features an individually cut helix-shaped grooves that act like claws which trap and hold the peppercorns as they are cracked. The claws guide the cracked pepper to the mill's teeth, which grind the pepper to the desired consistency as set by the user

  • The two rows of helicoidal grooves on the mechanism are individually cut into the metal, then case hardened, making them perpetually razor sharp and virtually indestructible
