The Tall Cocotte is a taller version of Staub's classic 4-quart round cocotte. It holds 5 quarts on the same small footprint, so you can cook larger batches without taking more space on the stovetop. The extra height keeps splatter and boil-overs down when you deep-fry, sear or simmer. It also leaves room for bone-in roasts, layered dishes and recipes that rise.
Why cooks choose it
- More capacity, slim profile. 5 quarts in a compact footprint that stores easily.
- Taller walls. Less splatter and boil-over when deep-frying, searing and simmering.
- Self-basting lid. Spikes under the heavy lid return juices evenly over the food.
- Black matte interior. No seasoning needed, with excellent browning, heat retention and distribution.
